Olivia interviewed Emma Skinner from the tennis team.

Olivia: “I understand you’ve had a few matches, how’ve they gone?”

Emma: “Pretty good. My doubles partner and I have placed in all of our tournaments.”

Olivia: “Very good. When is your next match and are you gonna win?”

Emma: “Tuesday, I think so yeah, we have a good chance.”



Katie interviewed Coach Palte about football.

Katie: “I’m here with the head football coach”

Coach: “Hi I’m Coach Palte”

Katie: “and how is the season looking this year”

Coach: “We have a really good group of young men, really good senior leadership. 14 seniors, they’re a really good group of leaders and great guys who really work hard.”

Katie: “Yes they do! And who did we just beat last night?!”

Coach: “We were fortunate we beat Shawnee last night, 27-7. Our guys played really well.”



Olivia interviewed Oli Bruno from the boys soccer team.

Olivia: “I’m here with Oli Bruno from the boys soccer team. So, how is your season looking?”

Oli: “Pretty good, it’s looking pretty promising this year.

Olivia: “When is your next game and where is it at?”

Oli: “It is Tuesday the 23rd at Van Wert.”

Olivia: “Are you gonna win?”

Oli: “That’s the goal.”

(They already played and won 1-0)



Katie interviewed Olivia Stolly about girls soccer

Katie: “I am here with Olivia from the girls soccer team. How is the team doing so far?”

Olivia: “ Pretty well, we have a lot of young players so we are working to get better every single day.”

Katie: “Please play girls soccer, we need the people.”

Olivia: “we do need the people. If you have any interest at all whatsoever please come out.”

Katie: “How did ottoville go?”

Olivia: “Um the ottoville game went okay, there’s room to improve. Our first half was good, I think we did pretty good overall.”

Katie: “How’s the next game looking?”

Olivia: “Our next game is Saturday at Coldwater. They are normally good so we are going to go out and have fun.”

Katie and Olivia: “Come support!”



Katie interviewed Emily Morrisey from the cross country team.

Katie: “I’m here with Emily Morrisey, part of the cross country team. And Emily, how is the first meet looking?”

Emily: “it’s looking okay, I haven’t really been to practice much because of soccer, but we have our first meet Tuesday.”

Katie: “Who’s all on the team?”

Emily: “me, Carson Caprella, Logan and Amaleigh Monaghan, Kenyon Kill, and Cosimo Di Tolla.”

Katie: “Where's your next meet?”

Emily: “Faurot Park, against Shawnee.”



Olivia interviewed Parker Judy from the golf team.

Olivia: “I’m here with Parker Judy of the Golf team. How is your season going so far?”

Parker: “we’re doing pretty good. We got sophomore Auston Craig, me as a junior, and two “freshmen” Cam Stewart and Zac Campbell. We’re doing pretty good as a team, we got a lot of team chemistry.”

Olivia: “Good, good. What are your predictions for the tournament?”

Katie: “Hopefully we make it to state. But the first thing is sectionals, then districts. We’re getting better everyday and keep working at it.”



Olivia interviewed Michael Sherrick from the marching band.

Olivia: “I’m here with Michael Sherrick from the LCC band. We know that there is a new band director this year, how is he?”

Michael: “He’s good, he just came out of college actually and is wanting us to be perfect and we are.”

Olivia: “Yeah you guys have been looking very good. Is there any song you guys like to particularly like to play more than the others?”

Michael: “We do like to play Shut up and Dance a lot.”



Katie interviewed Alice Reif from the volleyball team.

Katie: “I’m here with Alice Reif , she’s a freshman playing volleyball. Alice, how is the volleyball season going?”

Alice: “We’re doing alright.”

Katie: “When is your next game?”

Alice: “Saturday, against Bath at 10.”

Katie: “Come and show up.”
